Rachel is a new mom and veteran RIE nanny, but before working with children she toured the world singing jazz. Rachel has combined her two passions and created the music class she wanted for her son, Rowan. A gentle and peaceful introduction to beautiful music, rhythm and stories.
"My main focus with the class is creating a positive sensory experience through natural materials, high quality instruments and a peaceful introduction to beautiful, familiar songs. I’ve pulled from classic children’s songs, Waldorf as well as the great American song book. The children in class will be encouraged to explore, dance and play instruments freely or follow along with me- whatever moves them!"
